Our family has experienced many types of vacations – from cruising to fly and drive – but this trip I was able to explore Ireland on an Escorted Coach Tour!
“Here I am with Andrew and Josh swimming towards a rock bridge in the warm waters of Antigua. The boys had their first snorkeling experience here and they loved it!”
I had the opportunity in August 2008 to visit Cancun/Riviera Maya with a group of Travel Agents. Just as with every trip, this was a huge learning opportunity; I was able to see first hand many of the amazing resorts in this beautiful area of Mexico.
Las Vegas is a good destination for a short trip, especially with the ladies! I traveled to Vegas with my mom and 3 of my 5 sisters. One of my sisters hadn’t been to Las Vegas for 18 years! I had the opportunity to travel to Hawaii on a Travel Agent Familiarization Tour, otherwise known as a Fam. Tim and I had been to Oahu and the big island before and now I had the opportunity to visit Kauai and Maui. I’d like to share with you the highlights of my trip to these two amazing islands.

Many shore excursions involve a public beach next to a resort. In our experience there are not usually public beach chairs. The resorts charge a nominal fee to use their beach chairs, so remember to figure this into your budget if you would like to use a beach chair during your stay on the beach. Also, be sure to bring your own beach towel.
I let the boys decide what they will bring on the trip… with supervision. I had to intervene the year one of the boys wanted to bring the 3rd volume of the Harry Potter series (hard back) to read on the plane. This book, at over 450 pages, weighs more than most small appliances!
