One destination we consistently get good reports on from our clients is New Zealand. “After one month I was surprised that I could have stayed another week or two. The New Zealand countryside is just gorgeous,” wrote one client after a trip we helped arrange. “We loved New Zealand. Very progressive country and friendly people,” wrote another.
We are so looking forward to the debut of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas later this year! The Oasis will be the largest passenger ship afloat and will have many unique features – such as the Aqua Outdoor Theatre pictured to the left.
The table below lists the room sizes (in square feet) of different Disney Vacation Club (DVC) resorts. We’ve stayed at the Boardwalk Villas, Beach Club Villas, Old Key West, Wilderness Lodge Villas, and Vero Beach. Our favorite has always been the one bedroom units at Old Key West – we loved the extra room the Old Key West one bedrooms gave our family of four.
In our travels we often meet with private tour guides that we later recommend to our clients. Scot gave our family a terrific tour of the Vatican when we were in Rome in 2006. Scot and his wife Rina now offer personalized custom tours in Italy, specializing in the Tuscany area.
There’s an exciting new cruise ship coming to Port Canaveral, Florida! Later this year will be the home port for the 130,000 ton Carnival Dream. She will be sailing 7 night Caribbean sailings with lots of features – an expanded spa, family staterooms that can hold 5 people, and much more.

Did you know Walt Disney once owned a bowling alley, and that it was used to train workers for Disney World? One of the fun places to visit in my youth was Celebrity Sports Center in Denver. Celebrity was the first major Disney construction project after the completion of Disneyland. Celebrity opened in 1960 and was owned by Disney until the late 70’s. It featured 88 bowling lanes and an Olympic sized indoor swimming pool.

There has been increasing concern about travel to Mexico in recent weeks. We were on a conference call last week with representatives of Mexico tourism, several large U.S. Mexico tourism companies, and the editors of Travel Weekly (a trade publication for travel agents).
