Regent Seven Seas Cruise Line goes liquor all-inclusive for 2007

Beginning in 2007 all sailings of the Regent Seven Seas cruise line will include all the liquor you can drink in the cruise price. In an interview with Travel Weekly Christian Sauleau, vice president of operations for Regent, said that the policy would cost the company somewhere between $12 and $16 per person per day, but that the increased cost per day to guests would be less than that. He estimated between $9 and $10 per day. Regent already has a “liquor inclusive” policy on its World Cruises and that has worked well. “Customers always say ‘include the beverage’ because we can meet in the bar and there is a better atmosphere. Staying in touch with home while on a cruise

Carnival Cruise line recently announced it will outfit its fleet of 22 ships to enable guests with any cell phone service to make and receive calls at sea or send and receive text messages on their phones and hand-held devices. Carnival says their entire fleet will be outfitted with this technology by the 1st quarter 2007. Calls will be charged at international roaming rates, and will be billed directly to the passenger’s cell phone bill. ... Read More
