Thanks to our client Jeff from Michigan for sharing his family’s experiences at two Disney World resorts (Pop Century and Port Orleans Riverside), the new Magic Bands, and Magical Express. Short lines for rides, a terrific parade, free candy, awesome fireworks – we liked these features and more for our first time ever attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) on a Thursday night in October.
In our many trips to the Orlando area we have spent most of our time at Disney World with occasional visits to Universal Studios. In October 2008 we decided to try something different – a two day SeaWorld Orlando experience. We enjoyed our time at SeaWorld very much and found it to be a fun alternative to the other theme parks in the area. In this report we’ll tell you our opinions of the different attractions at SeaWorld.
When considering options for our Spring Break trip the unanimous refrain was “let’s go back to Disney World!” We loved our annual trips to Disney World since the mid 90’s, but in recent years we had taken advantage of other vacation opportunities. This was to be our first Disney vacation since December 2005. In addition this spring trip allowed us the opportunity to visit Universal Studios Florida/Islands of Adventure.
In December 2005 the Larison family took a short trip to Disney World to see Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. We also stayed at the Pop Century resort the first time and enjoyed that very much. While we did not do a detailed report on this trip we took lots of pictures!
Before we even dreamed of owning a travel agency Anne and Tim Larison loved taking their twins Andrew and Josh to Disney World every year. This report is one I wrote back in 1998 – we still smile when we read of the boys adventures on this first trip. I hope you enjoy it, too – Tim Larison
