What's your favorite theme park show at Disney World (past or
present)? By a theme park show we mean one that is included in the
price of admission and in one of the four Disney World theme parks
(like the Tarzan Show at AK, Beauty and the Beast at the Studios,
etc)
Answers posted to the list:
There are many. I loved the entertainers that used to be in United
Kingdom (they could still be there, I just haven't seen them in
a while), the Voice of America, and just watching the show that
is people having a good time.

Favorite show of all time was Hunchback of Notre Dame. Always felt
like it by itself was worth the price of admission (particularly
when we were there in time for the entire pre-show). Favorite show
now is The Festival of the Lion King.

We like all the shows, but the special one for us is Beauty and
the Beast at MGM Studios. One reason is that we first saw it on
our honeymoon -- just magical! We have to see it every trip now.
And I love 4 for a Dollar, the a capella group who sometimes sings
before the show, though we haven't seen them for a while. Does anyone
know if 4 for a Dollar is still around?

I have a few favorites: The old Hunchback of Notre Dame show at
the Studios. I loved how you could sit so close to the stage - I
really got an appreciation of the intricate costume changes and
props for this show by sitting closeup. Also I got picked for the
pre-show once (helping the juggler) which was fun. The Tarzan Rocks
show at Animal Kingdom - I like the energy of this show Indiana
Jones at the Studios - when that big ball comes rolling down at
the beginning it always gets my attention Candlelight Processional
- very well done (I recommend the dinner package!) Of these I'd
say my all time favorite is the Hunchback show.

Unfortunately I haven't seen many of them. I love shows and always
say *this time* I'm going to see more, but somehow it doesn't usually
work out, probably because the rest of the family isn't up for it.
I think of the ones I have seen, the Lion King show at AK would
have to be my favorite. I think it's better than Cirque du Soleil!

My DH and I would both say Festival of the Lion King - I've seen
it 3 times and still absolutely love it, and DH has only seen it
once and was so overwhelmed he is quite sure he only saw about 1/4
of what was going on. (Ok, OK - I have to admit it - I just LOVE
those monkeys!)

Had to be the Hunchback of Notre Dame stage show at the Studios.
The staging was so creative and the performers were superb. Current
shows--probably Tarzan Rocks at Animal Kingdom. I like that it's
not just a retelling of the movie plot, and my whole family likes
the skating monkeys.

Definitely Fantasmic, but the now defunct Hunchback of Notre Dame
was our favorite before. Lion King is a close second now. Also,
I used to love the previous preshow of the Honey I Shrunk the Audience...the
"True Colors" preshow. I loved the little bits of wisdom interjected
into the photos...especially the ones dealing with imagination....I
did not care that it was a giant Kodak commercial, I loved it and
wish they did not change it....

My favorite is Candlelight Processional. But of the shows you can
see year-round, my favorite is American Adventure. I do love Fantasmic
though!

This is a hard question to answer because they are all so good
so I will list my favorites, not necessarily in any order: Magic
Kingdom Legend of the Lion King Epcot The American Adventure MGM
The Pocahontas Stage Show Animal Kingdom Festival of the Lion King
Tarzan Rocks
Dennis

For an animatronic show it's definately The American Adventure.
My favorite live show is Lion King at MGM.
-----
With out a doubt, our favorite show is Fantasmic at MGM. The technology,
the music, the MAGIC cannot be topped.
