Return to Question of the Week Highlights If you have stayed at DVC's Hilton Head Resort in the past, how have you enjoyed your stay(s) there? What are the strengths of this resort compared to the other DVC resorts? What about this resort do you think can be improved? Do you have any difficulty getting reservations for Hilton Head in the summer months? Answers posted to the list: IMO, the cast members at HH are the best ones, I have always had great experiences with every cast member I;ve spoken too. They all seem to have that Disney spirit. Just wonderful. They are the #1 reason I love HH..the relaxed feel of the resort, the fact that you are on an island, and you feel totally apart and safe, and all the activities aren't too shabby either! We stayed at the lodge on both our trips, and liked it, but would prefer to be near the pool next time. This is how much I love HH- we have a trip booked for June, and usually got to WDW each fall(we just got back), well DH and I are seriously thinking about skipping WDW next fall and going to HH instead. We have SUCH a good time there, and we all need new APs(2 kids, 2 adults), that HH is looking better and better every day. Vicki ----- I really love the look and feel of Hilton Head. I love the woodsy atmosphere, and the pool on the beach. This is such a tiny little thing, but my son and I have had hours of fun playing nuke em in the beach pool, so I'd have to say I love the volleyball net in the pool. I love that it's close enough for us to get away for a long weekend if we want. What I don't like? This is a total no-brainer...if I want to spend a weekend there in the summer, I've used up almost half my year's points on the one weekend. Summer weekend points there are extremely high in my opinion, but I guess I can understand that, since it's a beach resort. Diana ----- The thing that I like most about HH? The location is convenient for our family when we drive from Ohio to WDW. The thing that I didn't like about HH that DVC fixed? Parking spaces were too short for minivans. The thing that I really don't like about HH (and why we don't go there anymore)?
