"We cannot tell you how pleased we are with deciding to your service to put this trip together! And, we were so glad you sent the little tidbits of information regarding the parks, rides, etc. We found each one to right on the money and we took all your good advice as far as lines, times of day to get on certain attractions (i.e. Dumbo) and it just made the trip that much more efficient and smooth. You are what I would call a "one stop shop for an amazing Disney World experience."

Return to Question of the Week Highlights When you encounter a rainy day when visiting Disney World, how do you get the most of your day and not let the rain spoil your fun? Any suggestions for rainy day activities or parks to visit at Disney World? Answers posted to the list: if it's a gentle rain and no lightning, we go to Typhoon Lagoon. You don't even know it's raining, you're wet already, and there's hardly anyone there... Grace ----- Shopping, movie, dinner or relax at the resort. Anne ----- Hit the rides. Nothing clears out a park like a rain storm. The harder it rains, the shorter the lines. If its warm and no lightning, another favorite is a water park. Already being wet, who cares about rain! Chris ----- Unless its an all day monsoon we put on our disney panchos and keep right on having fun! If it's a monsoon we kick back and relax at our resort. Dennis ----- On a rainy day I like to go to Epcot - lots of things to do "inside" there (inside an attraction, a restaurant, etc) Another fun thing I like to do in the rain is the Safari ride at the Animal Kingdom. I did this once in a big rainstorm and it reminded me of a scene from Jurassic Park! (without the dinosaurs of course!) It was fun driving through the mud on the safari - kind of gave the ride a more rugged feel. Tim ----- Last time we hit a rainy day, we went over to Disney Quest and got addicted to Pirates. Left for our dinner PS (at Boma, I think) and came back afterwards to continue blasting pirates until about 10:30 or so. I suspect we will make that our regular rainy day activity! Beth ----- When I went in Dec of 2002, I had a couple of days that did rain, one day rain lightly all day. That particular day I went to Animal Kingdom, and I really enjoyed it, cause the animals seem to like it, most any ways lol. Also the Fast Pass line for Kali River was at 0, so was able to get on with no problem, they ride cast members were even letting people stay on for more than one ride! Lots of yellow ducks (ponchos), which I was one. I was already pretty wet when I got on the Kali ride so thought cant get any wetter...yea...sure...lol. I am not sure, but that may have been the day when I went back to the room, around 2pm, and took a nice warm bath, and then took a nice nap, then got up and headed to Downtown Disney, and spent the evening at the Adventures Club...Kungaloosh! Mel ----- It rains nearly every day when we're at WDW, since we're always there in August. We're play-it-by-ear kinda folks, so we just go wherever we feel like going and do whatever's available to do. Of course attractions with indoor queues are more attractive than standing out in a downpour for an extended period. If it seems to be an all-day sort of rain, DisneyQuest or the movie theater at DTD is good choice. Last week we were there during Charley, and I can't say it had much of an impact on our trip. Friday was our last full day there and the parks closed at 1:00 p.m. We had enough time to go to MK and hit our favorite rides, then just rode out the storm back in our villa at OKW.
