“The picture was taken July 3rd 2012 on the 5-night Bahamas cruise on the Disney Dream.  Cruise overall was great – first time on the new ship, and we appreciated the room upgrades.  Everything was shiny and new, and the entertainment was probably the best we’ve ever had.  The cast members we came in contact with were fantastic – shoot, we even got good table partners!  The seas were so calm it was boring – this picture was of almost calm seas, which we had almost the whole trip.  2 Castaway Cay days were wonderful – we’ve done that before, and we far prefer that to Key West.  All in all, it was a near-perfect cruise vacation!” ... We’re back from an extended cruise vacation and it is time to start blogging again! Disney Cruise Line Is Great For Kids

Disney Cruise Line continues to be a great option for a family vacation. We’ve been on many cruises with our kids and while most ships we’ve experienced have had excellent kids programs, Disney’s offerings are unique. We especially like that Disney kids clubs are open for more hours when compared to other lines (9 am to midnight with no extra charge for late night hours). The shows in the big theatre are more family oriented on Disney than what we have seen on other cruises, too. Disney announces new cruise ship details

Disney yesterday announced details on the first of their two new ships – the Disney Dream. The Disney Dream will sail 3,4, and 5 night Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral, Florida starting January 26, 2011.
